Why paint fails here

What Florida does to paint

Sun-faded color painting

01 / 05 · UV & heat

Sun-faded color

Florida sun bleaches color fast — reds and dark tones on south- and west-facing walls go first. We use UV-stable, fade-resistant coatings rated to hold their color in it.

Peeling & cracking painting

02 / 05 · Stucco & wood

Peeling & cracking

Once paint cracks, our humidity and rain get behind it and the failure spreads. We scrape back to sound surface, prime and seal so it stops — and stays stopped.

Mildew & algae painting

03 / 05 · Humidity

Mildew & algae

Those grey-green streaks on shaded north walls are mildew feeding on cheap paint. We clean, treat and recoat with mildew-resistant product so they don't come back.

Chalky, dull walls painting

04 / 05 · Worn-out coatings

Chalky, dull walls

If your hand comes back chalky off the wall, the binder has broken down — that's a repaint, not a touch-up. We'll tell you straight which one you actually need.

HOA color rules painting

05 / 05 · Approvals

HOA color rules

Most Port Charlotte communities have an approved palette. We help you choose within it and handle the swatch submission, so you never get a letter in the mailbox.

Find your finish

What does your project actually need?

Three quick taps. We'll show you exactly what we'd do — and what you'll get out of it.

Step 1 of 3 — What are you painting?

Under the color

We don't cut corners — ever.

Anyone can roll color on a wall. We sand, patch, caulk and prime first — because the prep underneath is what decides whether your finish holds for years or starts peeling by the second summer.

Protection first

Failing paint is the first thing that lets sun, rain and salt into your stucco and trim. We seal it back up before the damage spreads.

Curb appeal that pays

A crisp exterior is the cheapest change that makes a Port Charlotte home look — and appraise — like more.

Color, handled

We bring real samples and test them on your wall, in your light, before you commit to a drop.

How it works

First call to final wall

No mystery, no pressure. Here's the schedule, start to finish.

01  The walkthrough

Day 0 · 30–45 min

I come out, look at the real condition of your walls or siding, and listen to what's actually bugging you about the space.

What to expectI'll tell you straight if something needs more than paint.

02  The written quote

Within 48 hours

An itemized estimate in plain English — every surface, coat and prep step spelled out, so there's nothing to be surprised by later.

What to expectThe number doesn't move once you approve it.

03  The work

Scheduled work days

We mask and cover everything, prep obsessively, then paint clean. You get a photo update at the end of each day.

What to expectWe clean up every evening — no living in a job site for a week.

04  The final walk

Final day

We walk the finished job together, in the same light you live in, and touch up anything you point out.

What to expectYou don't pay the final balance until you've seen every wall and you're happy.

What you're actually paying for

The cheapest quote costs more

Two quotes can look identical on paper and be nothing alike. Here's where the difference actually lives.

The cheap quote

  • One coat, rolled on fast
  • Paint straight over cracks, peeling and stains
  • Cheapest contractor-grade paint
  • A vague verbal price that creeps up

What we do

  • Two coats minimum, cut in by hand for razor-clean lines
  • Sand, patch, caulk and prime before any color goes on
  • Premium Florida-rated coatings built for sun, salt and humidity
  • An itemized written quote — the number doesn't move

“The cheapest quote you'll get usually skips the prep. That's why it's peeling by the second summer.”

From the owners

We're the two guys who show up.

We're Vlad and Andrey. We started Port Charlotte House Painters because we kept walking into homes that had been “painted” a year earlier and were already peeling — prep skipped, one thin coat, nobody to call.

So we do it the slow way. We sand, patch, caulk and prime before a drop of colour goes on, we lay two full coats, and we cut every line by hand. One of us is on your job the whole time — you will know exactly who painted your house.

“We'd rather lose the job to a cheaper quote than hand back work we wouldn't want on our own house.”

You get an owner, every job

One of us is on site — not a call center, not a sub you've never met.

Our own crew

The same painters, every day. Nobody rotates through your house.

We answer the phone

Call the number on this site and you get one of us, not a queue.

Who shows up

When you call, you get an owner. Not a call center.

We're Vlad and Andrey. We live here in Port Charlotte, and one of us is on every job we take on.

A lot of “local” painters are really just a logo and a voicemail — a crew you've never met, an address that turns out to be a storage unit, a quote that quietly grows once the work starts. That's not us.

When something needs to be right, you're talking to the people who can make it right — not a salesperson who disappears the day you sign.

  • Born & based here

We live in Port Charlotte and work the same streets your home is on. Not a franchise, not out-of-towners.

  • Text the owners directly

You get our personal numbers — a question or a change is handled the same day, by one of us.

  • Our name is on it

Every job carries the Port Charlotte House Painters name. That's the whole reputation, on the line.

  • Built for Florida

Prep and coatings chosen for our sun, humidity and salt air — not a national one-size playbook.

Promise

Our promise to you

No reviews to hide behind yet  so we put it in writing.

We're a newer painting company, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What that means for you: we have everything to prove and we'll out-work anyone to earn your word-of-mouth. These aren't slogans — they're the terms we stand behind.

A local owner on site

You get an owner on every job — not a call center, not a sub you've never met.

Our own vetted crew

Painters who work with us every day — never the rotating day-labor you've never met.

Photo updates daily

A photo at the end of every day, so you always know exactly where your job stands.

Finished on schedule

We start when we say and finish when we said — clean, and out of your way.

We show up the days we're scheduled — and if anything ever shifts, you hear it from us first.

Clean-home promise

Floors covered, surfaces protected, and your home swept and tidy at the end of every day.

Before you call

Straight answers

Every home is different, so we give you a free, written, itemized estimate after walking the job — no guesswork and no surprise charges. Interior rooms, full-home exteriors and cabinet refinishing are all priced transparently before any work begins.

Because it's in writing before we lift a brush. Your estimate is itemized line by line, and that number is what you pay. If we ever spot something genuinely unexpected behind a wall, we stop and talk to you first — we never quietly add it to the bill.

We walk the finished job together, in the same light you actually live in, and we touch up anything you point out. You don't pay the final balance until you've seen every wall and you're satisfied. That's the whole guarantee — simple and in writing.

Fair question. We're newer to painting, and we'd rather be upfront than fake a wall of reviews. What that means for you: we have everything to prove, An owner is personally on every job, and we put our guarantees in writing instead of asking you to take our word for it.

Yes. Port Charlotte House Painters is licensed and carries liability insurance, so your home and our crew are protected on every job. We're happy to provide proof of coverage with your estimate.

Most single rooms are done in a day, and a full-home interior repaint usually takes 3–5 days depending on size, prep and detail. We give you a clear schedule up front and stick to it.

We use premium, Florida-rated coatings built to handle intense sun, humidity and salt air — the difference between a finish that lasts and one that fades or peels in a couple of seasons.

Absolutely. Cabinet refinishing is one of our specialties — a factory-smooth finish that transforms a kitchen for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

We're based in Port Charlotte and serve North Port, Punta Gorda, Englewood and Venice. If you're nearby and not sure, just ask.
